Another person who deserves credit where it's due is young John Flanagan, personally I feel he's a footballer of very limited ability but he has been great since coming into the side and also deserves credit.

Not sure about that last point bud, think Flanagans got more ability than you might give him credit for.

Well possibly it's a little harsh but he offers little to nothing in an attacking sense (currently), so that's certainly his limitation in my opinion. But look I don't wanna knock the lad, he looks smart and composed on the ball more often than not at the moment and is doing great.

correct mate , ok a very long way to go it might not last , but surely brendan rodgers must get some credit from a certain few .

Indeed credit to him. If he sorts out our defensive system and Suarez stays fit, we would really have a good call for top 4.

We have a gauntlet of tough fixtures ahead till January, but we're in a pretty good position coming into it. If we get a win against Spurs, I think we'll fine, regardless of the City and Chelsea games. City have the gunners next week, so we have a chance to widen the gap to 4 points. If we do, it won't matter if we lose a the Ethihad.

But now that Gerrard is possibly out, I hope that they leave Allen in the more DM role and let Lucas move around a bit more, Lucas grew up in that role and it might benefit him to attack a bit more.

I think we can beat the Spuds, I'm not worried about them to much, just as long as we focus and attack and keep the intensity that we have been building.

Very true that me owld Ford.
It's a pleasing trend....bouncing back that is, NOT having bad losses. eek
In years gone by, we lost badly and then continued to lurch along in a trough and pit of gloom doom and despondency for seemingly months on end.

As much as BR gets RIGHT upon my breasticles some times, he has to be given credit for the job he's seemingly doing, and long may it continue.

Oh yes it bloody well will, and I'm dreading it tbh.

IF we win there and at least get a draw at chlski and spuds, then I'm going to put me neck on the line and state that we WILL gain a top 4 place for the end of the season.

You heard the fact from me first. laugh

Of course, when things are going well, BR and the team must get the credit' butwhen they are going poorly, hey let's all have a go at FSG and blame them for everything.

Today we are 2nd only 5 off top with arsenal still to have a slow period. But next week we could be 7th if results don't go our way.

The ideal case is win at Spurs, draw at City and win at Chelsea.

Chelsea has been leaking goals. With Suarez on form, we will score but we have will ensure our defence is tight.
