I agree that Luis was on top form yesterday, but i have to point out that i think the team as a whole. Performed well. Luis cant play that well if he doesn't get the ball or have the space.his teammates create for him.

glad to see Joe Allen played full 90 mins, and in the position where he eventualy can play his best.
didnt really realize he was on the pitch most of the times

Many top players are not very noticable during games...like Carrick for example, who is very important to united. A lot of these players are not flashy or extravagant, but they do the ugly stuff, the little things that no one notices but that are very important to the team.

i know but you notice them from time to time and they help dictate the game but i really didnt notice him after five mins of the game starting and then only realized he was on pitch when he had that great strike on goal. his passing was off to start of with and didnt get into the game

That's true, but he has been out for quite a while, taking that into consideration i think he was ok.

No Ninja, they didn’t play well, Gerrard put in a decent enough shift, despite giving the ball away a few times, Coutinho was ok’ish. The rest were mediocre, and they didn’t make the goals for Suarez, he made them for himself as is usual. In fact despite winning 5 - 1 there’s a worrying lack of cohesion and a frightening fragility about this side, that makes me very nervous going into the upcoming games against the top sides.

Where was this force of nature against Hull.

We couldn't even get him the ball. Totally isolated the whole game, but fair enough, he wasn't great last weekend. Even during the rainy season, you don't get typhoons everyday. But with Suarez you get them pretty damn often.

I'm sorry but I disagree. Not saying they were great' but they were OK. They can do better. So far we have concluded that Suarez was on fire, Coutinho played well, Sterling got an assist and a goal, Agger, Skrtel and Mignolet weren't busy other than the opening 10 mins ( and if they weren't busy for the other 80 mins it means the midfield did their job), Flanno had a decent enough game in an unfamilliar position.

So that's 1- Suarez on fire
2- Coutinho good game
3- Sterling goal and an assist (good by most standards)
4- Flanno decent at LB
5- Gerrard had a good game despite a few mistakes in the opening minutes
6- Migs - not busy
7- Agger not busy for majority of game
8- Skrtel not busy for majority of game

So that's 8\11 players on the pitch who put in decent performances....hardly a bad team effort or a 1 man show.

Of course the, the flashiest of the lot will always take all the credit.
