....apart from the fact chelski players dropped like flies within 30 yards of goal was our inability to deal with didier drogba! why do we fail time and time again to deal with him, fair enough some people will say because he is a good player but we just can not cope with him!!

have to say tho fair play to our lads, showed some great character tonight which gives us a lot of encouragement for the last few games of the league!!

oh forgot to say also that drogba is aa disgrace to football!!!!!

What a fantastic game. Heartbreak at the the end but I am really proud of Liverpool, well done to every Liverpool player tonight.

You are right about Drogba but he was not alone in the diving tonight, alot of Chelsea players were culpable. Good luck to Chelsea but I feel Barcelona will be too stong for them.

What an emotional evening! I cant help but think the two Ivanovic goals at home did it (and Reina's cock up which let them right back in the game). I hope Arsenal win it now

i think those players of the football club we loved went out to london tonight, and not only did they brake another record (first team to score more than 3 goals at the bridge in Europe) but people said we wouldnt score 2 never mind 3 or even 4, people rit us off before the game sayin chelsea would stroll it, an we give them a [oops] good hidin there, we showed the world and especially utd that wer gona push them til the last second of the last game for that title.

Come on get behind the redmen and believe were gona win the league

it didn't help that the ref was happy to give the chavs a free kick every time one of their players threw himself to the floor - they must have had 20 free kicks that were never free kicks

I believe the reasons why we lost the match was because of our poor defending. Taking off Arbeloa to bring in Babel was not the right decision, nor does taking off Mascherano to bring in Riera made any sense.

If I was in Rafa's shoes, I would've brought in Riera in place of Benayoun on the hour mark and wait to see if I needed another attacker. If so, I would push then Kuyt alongside Torres, and I'd bring Babel to play on the right wing with atleast 20 minutes to go.

Mascherano and Alonso, with our back 4 would have been enough to stop Chelsea from scoring the last two goals. their first two goals were flukes and we could've won the match if Reina did better.

all in all, we played a very good game, and now we should focus on the Premiership which is not far off. a win against Arsenal COULD MEAN that we will win the league!

if we:
1. win all of our matches
2. Man utd draw in two matches
3. maintain the goal difference

then we will win it !

Many "ifs" there Saud!! And I guess Babel and Riera came on because we needed to score goals...are they not attacking players??

too many mistakes again, but a real good effort by the lads. without gerrard aswell. time to concentrate on the league now.
