I just want you to know that all the talk about "Nasser Al-Khurafi" buying LFC is not 100% accurate. It's not Al-Khurafi family which is really interested in the football club, but another family. Al-Sager family (who are also a multi-millionaires, but not billionaires) are the ones who are really interested.

First, I cannot believe that Al-Sager family and Al-Khurafi family will do business with eachother, as they had so many political and commercial battles over the last 5 years. It was so significant that they literally tried to spend millions just to fight it out, IN PUBLIC.

Tom Hicks came to Kuwait and had dinner in Al-Sager's place (in "Diwan" Al-Sager, which is actually a house that all family members gather in) and that was reported in Al-Sager's own Newspaper (AL-JARIDA).

IF the Kuwaities bought LFC, we will have a stable management, but don't expect a huge transfer kit.

Nope - he signed on with a get-out clause if/when a takeover happens.... that was one of the sticking points of the deal.

So what you are saying is that he will walk if we get sold or will he walk if we don't get sold?

AL = family

so AL Sager = the family of Sager .. and "Sager" is one of their great grand fathers

that's the real meaning of the "AL" even though people translate it as "THE Sager"
