If you added up the points from the previous 38 league matches, we would be in 4th. I hear Rodgers and others talk a lot about or form since January, and statistically we've been pretty good. It looks like we're going in the right direction to me. http://i.imgur.com/UdEOZZA.jpg

Or 6th and we haven't improved. Don't mind that were 2nd not having set the world alight. If we improve we could get into the 4, if we keep on dropping points to any decent team we play arse, soton, toon (itd aside) it'll be another nearly season

If our form continues until January I'm convinced we will finish in the top 4. But if we lose to city spurs and chelsea then I think top 4 will be beyond us this season. The next 8 are very important.

I don't think finishing fourth will be impossible if we lose those three games in December. I think I'm correct in saying that Chelsea, Spurs and Man City in Dec are all away games, so we'll still have to play them at home.

I hope we r still in the top 4 come end of dec 2013
And hopefully not too far behind the top team in terms of points
And I hope br has got his Plan a targets and plan b targets .. In terms of quality players... He wants to sign or bring in on loan, all sorted out by the 1 st week of jan 2014.

According to the table we're fourth, but we have the best goal difference and the highest number of goals scored which is a definite sign of improvement.

main reason we are where we are is the others spurs city utd Chelsea haven't gelled and are loosing games they would of won last season so i think we in a good spot but not reading too much into it as you said solar! based on last years 38 we would be 4th but in reality we were 7th 8th this year the prem is wide open he who dares wins in the jan trans window i believe Couldn't agree less! We're fourth over the last 38 because of what we've done, not because of what other people aren't doing. What do you expect from the teams you listed above? Spurs finished on 72 last season and are on 20 this. United won the league with 90 points and now have 20. City finished with 78 and have 19 this season. These teams can't win every game.

We are doing well this season but there can be do doubt the form of the other top teams has helped us enormously. Who would have predicted city Chelsea and spurs would do so badly ?

These teams can't win every game i am actually seriously starting to doubt Spurs capabilities. I knew they would struggle to gel quickly but they have had a third of the season now and in all honesty i am starting to think we dodged a bullet by not going for Villas Boas. I am not convinced he has what it takes...not that i am completely convinced by BR either but i think Spurs won't improve much. CITY are a fantastic team but for some reason are underperforming away from home. Chelsea are good but Eto'o is ageing and i am not sure how well he will do in the PL and to be completely honest a strike force of Eto'o, Torres and Ba doesn't strike fear in the eyes of opponents like it might have a few years ago. Southampton look a tidy outfit as do Everton. I think we could see a different top 4 this season...

This is where we disagree though, i don't think we need to make amends because i think we had a great window last time round...Kolo was a great signing as was Sakho for defence, Mignolet seems to have been a good buy too, Moses started off good but hasn't impressed me in his last 2 outings. Aspas was always intended as a backup and as such i think he is good and can only improve once he settles in. Luis Alberto has also seemed decent as an option off the bench to me. Keeping Luis was also a great achievement in my opinion...i think we need to strengthen a bit more in midfield but i never expected everything to be sorted out in one window but we seem to have got our priority problem areas sorted out.
We need to do smart business in january but i don't think we had a poor window last time round by any stretch of the imaginination.
