Numerous posters are stating the obvious that Gerrard is not the player he was but to suggest that Henderson is his replacement is quite simply ridiculous. The difference In quality between our midfield and Arsenal's on Saturday was quite simply embarrassing. Gerrard even at 33 is still streets ahead of both Lucas and Henderson. JH's lack of quality was perfectly illustrated with the pathetic shot at the end of the run he had. I am sick to death of seeing poor quality players getting regular starts for us.

Who can replace these poor quality players from the existing squad???

Br squad of players is mainly full of average to poor players...

Br starting 11 has only 7 quality players in it, who are carrying the other 4 week in week out.

Br is still in the process of building a very strong starting 11 and having a very strong bench...

i don't think anyone could argue that we need to strengthen in midfield but the points that you have raised seem very conflicting?

So....what are you saying...we have a squad full of average to poor players or 7 of of the starting 11 are quality? The latter seems far more accurate and less dramatic

The rest of the players r average, poor

This means 7 players r carrying 4 players every game ...

That's the problem br has to find answers for ...

hendos shot was rubbish but it was him that created the oportunity on half way with his takle and determination, his composure in front of goal will improve, i have faith in hendo, at least you can rely on him to put in %100
