I'm a scouser, I lived in Liverpool for 18 years before moving to Warsaw, Berlin, London and Zagreb. I'm now back in Liverpool and as much as I love this city, it's part of me and it's in my blood, I can unfortunately confirm that it cannot compete with a thriving Capital city like London and the same can be said for many northern English cities. Sadly, the only exception would be Manchester but even that doesn't come close to life in London in terms of culture, entertainment, health care, education, politics. Everything that's worth happening, happens in a capital city of a country and not in averagely sized cities in the north west and that's how it will always be.
I'm sure all of this comes into a footballers considerations, along with how much money they can make of course.
And I agree with Andred, I can't stand Stan Collymore. However, I think there is an element of truth to what he's saying here.
