I wonder how abramovich feels about it

there was genuine concerns about him - due to sulking etc...i seen him do it myself ..talk of a walk out on training etc..so it wasn't baseless. I think he sorted himself out tbh, he admits himself he changed his mentality recently.

And I don't think anyone could have predicted just how good he has become. His arrogance and effort have combined to henry or michael jordan superstar levels.

Since chelsea are above Liverpool I don't suppose he gives a toss.

So now the Russian is worried?. Can we all decide that sturridge is the best thing since sliced bread at the end of the season when we have played and beaten the big guns. Not just an out of sorts man united.

He's scored in every game bar one this season! He's scored 21 in 27! You wait as long as you like, but I'm more then happy to say Sturridge was an absolute bargain.

I was one of those that had my doubts about Sturridge, the gossip about his sulking etc got to me.
How he has proved me wrong though, fair play to him, it seems he was determined to sort his head out with the help of others and it looks like he has.
I just hope no one comes to poach him of us now.

I hope you are both right. Sturridge seems to hate being second fiddle. Now that Suarez is back to take the limelight he may revert to past behavior. Suarez is the world class player not Sturridge.

He has expressed a competitive edge going on in his head which is now showing itself on the pitch, now maybe in the past he allowed it to frustrate him to the extent where he came across as sulky?. I think now he may have matured enough to put it to good use on the pitch. Good players need that edge so we will have to wait and see if it urges him on or drives him to despair. whatever happens we can only applaud his efforts so far.
