I thought our defense was great the other day. I was never really worried, apart from that one pen (which never should have been a pen anyway), and I'm normally a nail biter with that sort of thing.

I think our run has been comparable to the Arse, but a lot easier than Shitty, Manure, Chelski and the Saints.

I agree that the Saints are not an easy fixture and nor is Swansea away, but we only got 1 point from those 2, so the form guide vs decent opposition is not good.

We've only had what you'd call 1, maybe 2 good results so far this season imo, Manure and Villa. To use a golfing analogy, we went 2 under with those 2 results, then dropped a shot at Newcastle (especially given the circumstances), and got a bogey at home to the Saints. The rest were on par i'd say. Giving a current score card of 1 over par. It's not title form that's for sure!

I hate golf. We'll see if we'll be mounting any sort of title challenge in the next few weeks, I suppose. I think it's hilarious that Southampton have been more convincing than both Manchester clubs though.

A couple of questions for you Marko:

Based on last seasons results, how many points did we get from the fixtures Manure have played so far this season? And how many did they get from the fixtures we've played so far? Assuming ManU game vs us was replaced with ours vs them, if you know what I mean.

I haven't worked it out but it would be interesting.

That's kind of an esoteric question isn't it? We've beaten teams this season we lost to last season (United, Villa, West Brom). United have lost to teams they beat. City beat Chelsea last season.

Bu it doesn't matter. It's a different season now. Lining up who beat who last season is irrelevant. You can only beat what's in front of you, and so far, we've done pretty well. Arsenal is the test to see what we're made of.

There are no easy fixtures in the EPL, but, losing at home against Southampton is a very bad result just as not beating a 10 men Newcastle team. To me a draw at Swansea is acceptable.

Regarding Arsenal, I think our fixtures have been comparable but they have done better than us because I think Spurs is so far better than Manure and they have 2 points more than us.

There are no easy fixtures in the prem especially these days. Also none of the top teams look solid even arsenal and any can be beaten in the day. It's an old saying but very true concentrate in the next game and take each game as it comes.
.
I have a feeling we might win at arsenal just a gut feeling I have.

For me I don't want to jinx it. Don't want to think 2 far ahead instead take it a game at a time.

The next game is against Arsenal, so, thinking one game at a time is actually thinking Arsenal.
