migs 7/10 ...one great save a couple of dodgy corners
shako 8/10...very good I like him
toure 8/10..same
skrtel 8/10...great but refs are going to start targeting him as he gives peno's away all the time.
johnson 8/10...fab
cissokko 7/10..did nothing wrong but doesn't have the mobility or cutinsideability of a proper wingback
lucas 8/10 ..looking back to his best, only one or two freekicks given away
gerrard 9/10..bossed the game, near perfect set pieces
hendo 8/10..never stopped running and tackling
Suarez 10/10. nuff said
Sturridge 8/10..what a goal..took some time to get going the odd bad touch at the start

This has been our best game of this season, the one game where I been impressed. Because we took our chances to close out the game, and we did not slip up in the second half. Now this is a sign of a top 4 team, I hope this run continues.

He looked robotic yesterday, he has no fluidity in his body movement anymore. Im sure this is just psychological at this point, he has bags of potential but that was a career ending injury so he'll need a good season to get his mind right.

The good thing compared to last season and many before is that we have decent options in most positions. I see a great player in Martin Kelly. he looks like a "real" Liverpool player, strong, confident, smart, good football brain, always looking to receive the ball. Far better than Johnson or Henderson.
What?? Definitely not better than Johnson, redordead is right he looked VERY off the pace and a better team would have exploited this yesterday for a closer finish. Glen has been excellent for the passed two years, people, especially liverpool fans need to shake this misconception of him. kelly is a much better defender then johnson but in the system we are playing at the mo johnson is tailor made and of cause kelly looked off the pace, his been injured from beginning of time

He is solid defensively, there is no doubt. When he had his good patch he would bomb forward but he's no where near what you'd describe as a good attacker. He makes Enrique look like Mr Composed. He's so far off Johnson it's a bit silly comparing them as genuine competitors for a starting spot. Come on now. I don't like being harsh, but come on fellas this is ridiculous

Now this is a sign of a top 4 team, I hope this run continues. Am I right in saying it was the first time we looked comfortable with the 3 at the back? That was the biggest thing for me. Toure and Sakho playing very wide like Bogarde and Reiziger did in the great Ajax team of the mid-late 90's allowing Johnson and Cissokho to play like wide midfielders. I thought Cissokho was good offensively, but looked a bit shakey defensively a couple of times. Johnson was decent going forward and back. I'm not normally a massive fan but thought Henderson was awesome - having both him and Lucas on form put proper pressure on their players in possession. We closed down as well as any game this season IMO, largely due to those 2 and Suarez who was a constant menace.

Before he got injured, sure. But now? hopefully he gets back to that, but he looks a ghost of himself.

Hopefully he will, but certainly not based on last night's performance.
