Simon Mignolet 6 - didn't really have much to do, but did get caught out coming for a few crosses

Mama Sakho 7

Martin Skrtel 8 - solid defensively but should never be allowed to shoot again after that miss! smile

Kolo Toure 7

Glen Johnson 8 - got forward well

Steven Gerrard 8 - great delivery from set pieces

Lucas Leiva 8 - done the dirty work well and won midfield

Jordan Henderson 6 - I actually thought he was quite poor. He did a lot of running and made some good tackles, but he also misplaced passes and put some shots well wide.

Daniel Sturridge 7 - Was a little selfish at times when he had better options, but what a goal!

Aly Cissokho 6 - I don't think Cissokho was that great. He gets an assist for that Suarez header, but lets face it, that was due to the genius of Suarez rather than the quality of the cross. It also looked like he could have been the one that conceded the penalty.

Luis Suarez 10 - Nothing to say really, he's just a genius

Immense performance from the whole team I thought.
An absolute pure joy to watch a fine example of poetry in motion.

IF we played like this every week, we WOULD win the PL.

Agree he does come up with some really good goals, but for most of the first half he didn't show up. I also feel that he over dwells on the ball at times and ends up losing it.

Think we're being a little bit over critical here.

Far better than Johnson or Henderson.

What?? Definitely not better than Johnson, redordead is right he looked VERY off the pace and a better team would have exploited this yesterday for a closer finish. Glen has been excellent for the passed two years, people, especially liverpool fans need to shake this misconception of him.

Most likely, the whole team were superb yesterday. But better tom be over critical and find areas to improve on than to get complacent

Johnson unfortunately is still carrying the burden of the fact the a few years ago the defensive side of his game was lacking, and is under appreciated by some.

The past 2 seasons he has been fantastic going forward and defending with the odd bad game...but every player had those.

Whilst Kelly seems a talent, and I like the lad, in my opinion both Johnson and Toure are far ahead of him interns of quality.

Another thing I noticed, two of our backs got assists yesterday, Toure and Cissokho.

I think it's just the impact of his injuries, I'm sure he will regain confidence and form.
