9 of of 10 for all involved , even the atmosphere was much better , and the singing of YNWA before the end to commemorate its 50th year of gerry and the pacemakers YNWA getting to No1 great.

Sakho looked great to me, not very busy though. Lucas fantastic, Suarez on another level altogether. Didn't Cissokho get 2 assists?

Whoever told you that Cissokho was poor lied. He was a menace going forward, solid at the back, and got 2 assists. Sakho was good too.
Standout performers for me were Johnson, Cissokho, Gerrard, Lucas, Sturridge, and of course Suarez.

Simon Mignolet 7 composed and in control. Couldn't save the penalty, but it happens.
Mama Sakho 7 solid and never put a foot wrong. Good passes and a beast in the air.
Martin Skrtel 8.5 the nail eater is back. He's been a monster this season.
Kolo Toure 8 what a bargain. His passing, his tackling, his movement all belie his years. His defense splitting pass led to Suarez's 1st goal.
Glen Johnson 8.5 Glen looks back to his best. Very threatening going forward. Was nervous when he went down, but he seems ok. BR was smart to take the cotton wool approach and bring on Kelly.
Steven Gerrard 8 Stevie had a quietly excellent game. His passes were penetrating, and he loos as though he finally remembered that every pass doesn't have to be a Hollywood longball. Class free kick to set up Suarez's 3rd goal.
Lucas Leiva 8.5 Monster. Lucas was immense today. He was everywhere, tacking everything that moved. His passing was quite excellent today too. Unlucky to give up that penalty (I thought it was a bit soft really), but glad to see him back to his good form.
Jordan Henderson 7.5 He looks like a BR type player these days, and he really keeps the system going. He had a lively performance, but his final ball lacked for me.
Daniel Sturridge 8 He was having a frustrating day I could tell, but what a goal. He was getting fouled so much, I thought he must have changed his name to Coutinho, but he had some really cheeky bits of skill. What a bargain he turned out to be. He and Suarez complement each other very well.
Aly Cissokho 8.5 everything you could ask for in a wingback. Excellent in wide areas, good defending, and some superb crosses. Bagged 2 assists as well.
Luis Suarez 10. Just magic. He was unplayable today. The perfect balance of tenacity and composure. He played with confidence, intelligence, and dazzling skill. He is such a complete striker. I had no idea he could head the ball like that. The two frontrunners for the golden boot might both be wearing red this year.

i thought all were great with 3 exceptions. Skyrtel can tackle but makes terrible risky passes on a regular basis, Henderson runs all day but isnt up to the standard we need in passing, technique and goal scoring, and Johnson (I know he is popular) isnt a good defender and his forward runs are always the same, get to 30 yards out then run infield and lose the ball.
Luis Enrique in for Henderson, Agger for Skittles and Kelly at right midfield would be my choices.
i was most impressed in this game by Gerrard and Lucas. They were immense.

I think what you said of Hendo was mostly accurate today. Coutinho will probably replace him. I disagree about Johnson though. He hasn't made any real defensive errors in a while. He's one of our more consistent players, and Kelly looked VERY off the pace when he came on. I think Agger will eventually replace Skyrtel, but he's been sucha rock lately, I can't see it happening until his form goes south.

The good thing compared to last season and many before is that we have decent options in most positions. I see a great player in Martin Kelly. he looks like a "real" Liverpool player, strong, confident, smart, good football brain, always looking to receive the ball. Far better than Johnson or Henderson.
