It's ok for us posters to be thinking down the line like this, but I hope Rodgers keeps his and his players focus fixed firmly on each game as they come, there's nothing easy at PL level and losing focus would be deadly.

Alright grumps calm down! What is it with this forum where everyone criticises everyone's subjects?

Agree, we badly need those 3 points at home, we should be able and it's a must if we want to have a top4 ambition.

A win next week keeps us on target. We know we cannot win every game and it is good that we are all looking at realistic targets.

There will always be good times to play certain opposition but this season there are more teams getting goals against top sides and the likes of Man City and Chelsea are still struggling to shut sides out completely.

I think we are due a clean sheet ourselves and a scruffy 1-0 win will do next week.

Let's take it one game at a time. Three points from the West Brom game seems to be a very realistic target.

I want 4 points from the West Brom game and if we dont get them I shall be blaming FSG KD and Lucas.
