can't get my head around yossi's substitution

i agree with most of what saying, yeah kuyt is average but works hard. id work hard for 90 min if i was thousands to do what i love. this should be a given that you try hard.

but we have players in our squad who can be brilliant on there day. get them playing at a consistent level and we are good enough to be top of pl.

There is obviously something going on in the players heads for them to perform like they have this season in all comps. I can't remember a game that we have actually looked like a football team playing with desire and passion....there is probably only two games for the whole season where the players have looked like they wanted to be there!!

Your right Redlaz, We've been crap since day one this year. Apart from the scum and spurs at home we have looked like Pompey all year, but fairness to them they play better football. And by the way I hope all the people who think Martin O'Neill isn't up to the job watched the Villa Reading game at the weekend

O'neill won't be in the slightest bit interested in the job, He's already at a better club than this has become. Wouldn't surprise me if we end up with another negative, foreign clone.

Would it hurt for the manager to instill a little self belief in the players rather than sucking every creative ounce out of them.

I couldn't stand Houllier at the end but my feelings for Benitez are bordering on hatred. In any other job his incompetance would be rewarded with the elbow, that is all he deserves.
