jesus he is ten times the manager rafa was and is. there is no comparison really. rafa bought the likes of crouch kuyt sissokko and masceranho- lump it football, he was the tinker man too, massive line up changes every week and he also played for 0-0 draws.
BR is in a different league to rafa in fairness, rafa more of a lucky good timing manager. lol

BR is in a different league to rafa in fairness, rafa more of a lucky good timing manager. Rafa changed the line up so much to suit whoever the opposition was. And more often than not, got it right. We achieved 2nd in the league under him. We won champions league 2005 and got to another final under him. He went on to get Chelsea the europa league and 3rd under a [oops] ton of pressure from the chavs while the club was in relative turmoil. He's now leading Napoli and..oh yeah, they dont seem to be doing too bad. he had everything he needed to install a stylish footballing era at liverpool like wengner at arsenal..but yet toppled everything cause he was a boring negative manager instead. took over chelsea near the top of the league and quickly ended any hopes of title when everyone else in the league was crap and now his team just got embarrassed by arsenal on the world stage. seria a is a joke league

3-4-1-2 is not even remotely simillar to 3-5-2....but ok. It's like saying 4-3-3 is simillar to 3-4-3, it's not. Sorry, don't agree with you. 3412 can be called 352 IMO as it has 5 players in the midfield that can be changed quickly to a 532 formation when you are defending or moving the ball from behind or 334 when your wing players are attacking. This is definitely not new and a few months back there was a post here debating the formations each liked, I always liked the 532 or 352 formation (it provides the right balance of quickly changing defense to attack, but you need particularly attacking fullbacks) and think that Johnson would be great on the right wing as Coutinho in the midfield foremost position. I dont like playing with one centre forward and this formation will allow 2 in Suarez and Sturridge. Dalglish was playing 532 in his transitional period which he changed to 442 when appointed half a season later. Formations depend also a lot on the players you have available. 433 is not similar to 343 unless you decide to play with only one full back moving forward, which doesn't make sense.
