I agree that Enrique is prone to the occasional error but to lay all our defensive problems on him seems a bit unfair.

Johnson has undoubtedly been our best defender after Toure this season. He has vastly improved his defending. Skittles has been top notch too, and I think you are going a bit overboard with your evaluation. He had 1 poor season for us, the rest he has been quite good. he was even our best defender not too long ago. he is a starter for Slovakia and this is not due to his poor ability. Many clubs have been sniffing around him.

Enrique never pushed on after he joined LFC, he has gone backwards, needs replacing.

I agree Wakka! He's not taken his opportunity at a big club, it's time for him to go to a stripy club.

Whilst we are 2nd in the table we should not be slating some of our players. Enrique had a few indifferent games last season and then for 2 months he was the best player in the team by far. Like anyone he needs competition.

To be fair to Enrique, I wouldn't have listened to Carragher either. That doesn't make him the weak link.

The weakest player in the first 11 is currently Gerrard. I wonder what Carragher's opinion on his best mate is at the moment, oh yeah he avoids any conversation about him and chooses to outline so called weaker players on sky sports.

Maybe Carra was too busy mentioning Gerrards assist for the first goal on Sunday and the raking 60 yard pass that put Sturrdidge through to set up the 1st Suarez goal? I think that Gerrard has been relatively poor this season but its difficult to justify him as being our weakest player with that kind of contribution.

you can pretty much make any player look like he had a decent game by pinpointing some of the good things he has done ( could be something as simple as taking up a good position or a good run). its easy to highlight a 60 yard pass and miss out the fact that he had a poor game bevause his your mate
