No and too early to say. If Sturridge is as good as he looks like being, (paired with Suarez) I'm starting to feel if this team doesn't make the top4 they have frankly let themselves down and the manager would be culpable too.
How many teams in Europe have a strike partnership like this? There goals should win games. We have weaknesses in the middle but we should be able to manage the weaknesses if the manager is good enough and players motivated surely?

Their national team manager Joachim Lööw you mean. The one who sniffs his own arm pits and eats boogers all the time? Lööw You can for sure tell him to take a sniff and then booger off at any time if you like! LOL +1

Man U, Chelsea, Man City, Everton.... all have new managers this season and ALL are pi55ing over anything the BR achieved at this point last season. (ok, perhaps not Moyes but you get my point)
The question is why is BR looking like a good manager? Because we beat Stoke, Villa and Sunderland? I haven't forgotten the Scum but that's been negated by the fact they beat us with their reserves.
Na, I'm not impressed with BR at all.
The games with Notts County and Southampton show a real lack of technical ability. I seriously question his Man Management skills. We can all see that Sterling has a lot to offer but ever since he's been under the wing of BR, he's gone backwards.
... and as for his acquisitions, that's another story.
I'd stick with him for the stability of the club but another Houlier or Raffa in the making he most certainly isn't !

sorry to sound pessimistic, but i dont think it will last. Sunderland game was good result but very frustrating, sometimes we cant even control the ball!! nearly threw something at the tele.
but hey im enjoying the run and long may it continue, loving the UTD situation, wouldnt swap Rogers for anyone at this present moment. we are missing a creative midfielder, someone like Mata would be fantastic, then i do think we have a top 4 side. you can see we're missing Coutinho.
sorry but Henderson is very frustrating, would like to see Johnson back. like the fact that Gerrard is playing a more DM role and i think he's doing very well. looking promising dont think we will make top 4 this season (not a moan just an opinion) but definate improvement from last season.
Tot, Chel, Ars, City, have better players/squads at the moment, but we just need to win the games we SHOULD win and thats the main thing and the rest will happen, we have been too fickle in previous seasons and dropped too many points against teams at home and bottom half.
but great start, waydago Rogers keep it up and the team ofcourse!!! YNWA
COME ON YOU REDS !!!

The game against County must have been so bad it's been wiped from my memory, which is fortunate.
That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

Chelsea - 63mil 11 (2013) 16 (2012) City - 103mil 10 (2013) 12 (2012) Man u - 30mil 7 (2013) 12 (2012) Everton - 21mil (lost 1 key player) 12 (2013) 13 (2012) Liverpool - 49mil 2012 5 (2012) 10(2011)
It seems that there is a fairly regular pattern in that new managers all have done worse than at the same point in the previous season.
Last year we drew with both Sunderland and Stoke and beat Villa in the corresponding fixtures so theres a good improvement.
Southampton outplayed us - it was a very poor performance but these things happen
Sterling must have made a massive impression on you in the 3 games he played for Liverpool before Rodgers came along. Don't forget that under BR he won an English cap. He is still young and needs to mature and develop but BR has brought him on no matter what you think.
He has had a mixed bag with transfers but show me a manager that hasn't
Good Transfers Mignolet Toure Sahko (looks promising) Sturridge Coutinho
Bad Transfers Allen Borini Aspas (potentially a poor one)
Unknown or Irrelevant Ilori Assaidi Yesil Luis alberto
At least research your points before you say them and back them up with facts

And as the little boy can't keep himself out of trouble off the pitch, what chance does Rodgers or anyone have of getting him to make it?
