Aim for 9, but I think 7 is a realistic yet very good return. 6 i'd be happy enough with, but any less would be poor. With the top teams struggling at the minute, we need to capitalise and put as many points between us and them as possible while we have this easyish run of games

Yes but we have them at home, that should work in our favour. I agree we must aim for all 9 points. However We’re away to Newcastle and they’re playing pretty well, so I’d reluctantly settle for a point there, providing we play well. If we have CL ambition we’ve got to be winning our home games against the lower ranked teams and then, for the most part, sharing the spoils with the big boys.

Lets see how it goes. This Liverpool side tend to blow hot and cold and times and we dont really know what to expect. I hate WBA. They took 6 points off us last season and the look capable of doing same dis season should we not have Johnson back or Kelly back...and firing.
I just want us continue winning and staying in lofty positions cos the longer we stay there, the more the players would wanna rise above their apparent quality deficiencies (when compared to our other Top4 rivals) to wanna stay in the mix. For now, I remain hopeful each match day. When will PC be back?

I'd be happy with 7 points with 2 home wins and a draw to Newcastle. 9 points would be sensational and give us a great little run of games and hopefully put a gap between us and the rest.

We need 9 points before the Arsenal game. December fixtures are going to be tough with Chelsea, Spurs and Citeh.

West Brom are the only club that would cause problems out of these 3 games.

After getting 4 points from the last 3 games I really don't want to start thinking ahead now. With needing some points in the bank before the tough Nov/Dec away games we must take 7 here and I am really not worried about how we get them or against which teams.

That's one down! The next two look tough, especially after the way west brom have played in the last two games.

Newcastle are hot and cold, but when they're hot, they're a threat. Remy seems to be doing very well for them. I'm kind of disappointed we didn't go for him at all.

Four points so far, if we win at home against West Brom then I think we have done well from these three but it will be a tough game. They look har to break down.

What is it with this forum and "the next three games"?

Pete: Berg, I'm just not cut out to be a good person.
Berg: I know. That's why the Lord gave us good looks.
