Wait a minute, I said given our fixtures we should get more than 10 pts after the first 5 games (we were just below as we got 10, with at least a draw against Southampton we would be there) and at least 14 after 6. Yes I know, I didn't say we would be second because I didn't predict how others would perform. Getting 13 pts from our fixtures, believe me, is not exceptional, it is the least we can expect if we want to stay in the top 4 race. Harder games are to come and I am not sure how we will do based on our performances, but, great to ve where we are.

Actually agree with you on this one Faz! Toure was a colossus today.

Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.

Another one with the same work rate and fantastic attitude as Kuyt.
Luv'em both.

Was he like this at Citeh do you know?
I can't remember tbh. blush

It seems a massive shame that we didn't get Toure ten years ago! However, his wealth of experience has given him the mentality, attitude and determination we all want to see and we're benefiting from that. It seems to me that he could be fairly adept at a number of positions.

As much as some on here are constantly calling for massive marquee signings and slate the club when we settle for players who aren't regulars at other big clubs, you've got to admit, we've done very well out of Toure, Sturridge, Coutinho and Moses and long may it continue.

As far as I can remember (it’s getting fuzzier all the time!) he was top class at Arsenal, but didn’t get much game time at City.
But I agree he’s doing brilliant and a great signing for us, and free at that! Bet City are pulling their hair out they didn’t give him another year’s contract, Fergie would have done that, and always did with his top players
