I wasn't convinced with him but I must admit hes working hard a lot of the time , just needs confidence as said re price tag lets face it no matter what if you try to get an English player it will cost a lot more than for a foreign player purely because they are English / british clubs seem to think they are worth more because they are british and that's why the English players are suffering as does the international side .

He's an extremely basic player who offers just the bare bones, safe sideways or backward passes, hardly a threat to the opposition. At times when he gets the ball u just feel he can't do anything special with it. Maybe its bcoz he'z been playing in an unfamiliar position I dunno, but we really need a player with that extra bit of guile and creativity. Now that Lucas is suspended in the next game i hope he gets the chance to show what he can do at DM.

we have got to be honest and say he is [oops] and out of his depth, cant cross the ball,does not go past anyone, cant score. once countinho back cant see him playing

Really like the lad, but I'm afraid I have to agree with the general consensus, he's rubbish!

He seems like he has all the parts to his game, we've seen glimpses of different areas of his game which have been very impressive! I'm glad Rodgers has given him a chance, and a run of games to try and put it all together in a consistent fashion.

Seems he's not been able to take his chance, so In my mind anyway, he's not good enough for LFC. You can't afford to waste chances with the EPL being as competitive as it is at the moment.

Surely the gaffer has given him a chance and given him all the support he could ever need? He's played almost every game. What else can a manager do? When I see him play, I just don't see any signs of creativity, trickery, skill, craft, tact etc now or in the future. I mean he is a nice lad, you can see he tries really really hard but apart from his bags of energy, he offers little else going forward.

Deffo not the finished article yet , has potential , great attitude , but was being played out of position against his home town club and looked nervous.

Hendo at best is a squad player....

Problem is.... English player costing 16m and only a squad player

Shud of sold Hendo to WBA in the summer...

I think br shud give Hendo a chance in center mid now that Lucas is suspended..

If Hendo does not improve ....

Then 2/3 quality mid players to come in jan 2014 and any offers close or over 10m, sell Hendo
