They make great owners for any club outside the top 4 KP.
That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

I must admit KP,that without the use of Time-lapse photography, i'm struggling to see any progress. 3 years is enough time for some noticeable progress Lumba, and I agree that we are not seeing any. You're choosing not to see it that's why. We are a better team, better squad (albeit still a bit thin), than three years ago. We have only lost once in the last few months of prem games... we ended last season and have started this one much better than usual. Our financial situation has improved under FSG... as has the youth set-up and general running of the club. The stadium issue is a bit slow but there is a general game-plan and some movement as opposed to the lies of H&G. If you think things are as bad as they were under the Cowboys... that's because you want them to be. yeah the cowboys were horrible and compared to them we are better now. However the financial situation was expected, its the reason why we decided to move away from H&G. The stadium issues seem to change everyday and I dont know where we are at with it. 3 years ago we were in Europe at least, however we have struggle to get there lately. Don't get me wrong, FSG are better than H&G, but we need to show a sign of progression on the pitch, this we will find out at the end of the season, anything below 5th is not good enough.

I agree,as a small club we took advantage and came up trumps with Danny.

They make great owners for any club outside the top 4 KP. There is no top 4 anymore - there is a top 6. Therein lies the problem. It's not that we haven't progressed - it's that new investment has changed the playing field in the last 3 years. Man City, Spurs are now in the mix - and for different reasons. When you look beyond the 'sugar-daddy' teams - I'm not sure there are too many business models that more advanced than FSG. ManU's has been propped up by the best manager in the modern game - and we'll see to what extent they decline. Arsenal's is not that dissimilar in principle - but they've been at it longer and Wenger is a more experienced manager than BR. I can't say which model Spurs is - but they should be in the CL for all the money they are chucking at the team. Instead of just whinging at FSG and the speed of progress... you have to see the bigger picture. The game has changed a lot in 3 years... and when you consider their massive learning curve (which led to mistakes) they really haven't done that badly. Amateurs are not what we need.

If you think things are as bad as they were under the Cowboys... that's because you want them to be. If ten people witness a two car accident, research tells us they will each give a different description of what they witnessed, I.e. they will each see it differently. James Joyce described it as “the ineluctable modality of the visual” So it’s not that we choose to see things differently, it’s that we’re programmed to see things differently....and oh thank you God for that blessing! What a dull and boring world it would be if it were to be otherwise!
