Bang on mate and what really get's on my 'mammaries' are these so called fans on here that defend FSG and Henry when it comes to their lack of INVESTMENT in the club. I don't know what's worse. Having an Billionaire owner who sits on his boat sipping G&T's all day while watching Rounders and not giving two sh1t's about the success of this club.
Whilst I'm not a fan of FSG and think they are using us, our net spend is still one of the highest in the league and our overall spend is in the top 3. Brendan has had over £100m to sort the team out and he has squandered just about all the money just like he did at Swansea, the man can't be trusted in the transfer market, he is notoriously [oops] in this department. It's Brendan's job to recruit the right players, how can you blame FSG for this. People couldn't wait to stick the boot in to Commoli and Kenny for their transfer record, so why no hate towards Rodgers for his abysmal record. You say that people defending FSG pisses you off, well people blaming them for someone elses mistakes pisses me off. You do have a point unless FSG is also forcing BR to get rid (even on loan) of those on high wages, this is why he may be had to spend 10m on Mignolet (don't get me wrong, he is a good keeper may be a bit better than Reina) when our priorities were somewhere else.

So why all the lies from him about competition for places and Mignolet will keep Reina on his toes and whatever other crap he came out with. He had the chance to sign Begovic for less than Mignolet's fee's, not to mention the so-called future England no.1 Butland for less than 5m.

Don't think he had the choice of keeping Reina, so he went to the best low wage player he could get. The plan was/is to sell Reina asap, just watched him, he is doing great and saved a Bolotelli penalty to help Napoli winning it's 4th game on the trot. However, I agree with you that i think BR messed it up with Borini and Aspas. In addition, there was no need to buy Ilori, Alberto and Allen, money could have been spent more wisely.

You say that people defending FSG pisses you off, well people blaming them for someone elses mistakes pisses me off. I'm no fan of BR's, far from it. But I do think that his role as a manager is very limited to what it was under kenny and raffa. I don;t think he holds the purse strings at all and given the chance again I think he would rather have stayed at Swansea. Of course, this we'll never know until a book comes out in the future. I think BR uses the media to play politics with FSG. (Pepe beig an example) You say his net spend is one of the highest. That means phuck all as he has had to build a squad of players, not add quality to an existing team like any other team (apart from Sunderland) £100 Mill is enough to buy just 3 (possibly 4) Top 4 players. BR's failures in my eyes are Borini and Allen. All the rest are products of 'Moneyball' but that's just the transfers. His main failings are the pitch in team selection and tactics. I don't think he plays to our strengths (although not many) and he makes it easy for opposition to exploit our weaknesses.

I think some people need some perspective..... Another post from someone defending FSG.... It's funny how you only registered 4 weeks ago but have so much to say. I wonder how much FSG spend on trying to defend their online image?

Neither are you mate, despite your efforts !!! PS, just highlight again for me where I said he wasn't allowed an opinion? I just said it was a very weighted opinion towards FSG ...

I think some people need some perspective. Yes, we are LFC, Yes we are the most successful British Club in Europe. But listen, we arnt that world force anymore. I know we're used to the worldly heights that LFC made a name for itself. But quite simply, we arnt that force anymore. I know it has been said time and time again, but we're in a process of a rebuild which is going to take years. It hasnt been that long since we were looking at possible administration. That is down to the business side of things, and again things could have been done and handled better, but again, I say we need to have a little perspective. The fans of other clubs, without even a shred of the history we have had, support their club, their players, their manager through and through, maybe its because they arnt accustomed to the success that we as LFC fans have had, I dont know. But what we shouldn't do, is throw our toys out of the pram everytime things dont go exactly our way. I mean what are we? Chelsea Fans? We have more class than that. We need to understand that we are STILL going through a rebuild, we are still trying to get our finances in order to compete. We havent got the oil money, bale selling money or arab money. But even so. We as fans need to SUPPORT the club, we need to carry them on our shoulders as much as we can. The foundations of this club was not built on the businessmen trying to balance the books, it was built on us singing our Team to glory, and its that, which is going to help us rise to the top again. It was the optimism of Bill Shankly that put Liverpool on the Map. It was the collective optimism of the liverpool fans, singing "You'll Never Walk Alone" after the first half of istanbul which created the miracle that was our 5th champions league trophy. It was the optimism and determination of the justice for the 96 campaign that finally got the truth out there. These are just some examples. We have to be resilient, we have to be supportive and we have to know that "At the end of the storm, is a Golden sky". What the hell are you talking about, what have you been smoking i was wondering? Optimism just for the sake of it or what? We could have been optimistic with G&H too, people here are commenting on what we are seeing now and trying to understand why, get beat at home against Southampton with only one proper chance on a free kick is something to worry about, just like being outclassed in almost all 2nd halves so far.

I wonder how much FSG spend on trying to defend their online image? It's a forum, I signed up to a forum to discuss lfc, Why would I sign up to a forum if I didnt have anything to say? Also, I'm a supporter first and foremost, I dont pretend to be an accountant analyzing net spend etc to determine what my view of the current squad or current manager is. So you can carry on saying I'm pro-fsg all you want, when all I'm doing is looking at the bigger picture. Recognizing it isnt the 70's or the 80's anymore, we're not world beaters anymore. It's going to take time and support for us to get back there, and whinging and crying because we arnt in the top echelons of football anymore, smacks of a gloryhunter being bitter that his club of choice is no longer satisfying their massive ego. So we should just bend over and be butt phucked by FSG while they devalue our club? You call yourself a pigeon, you haven't by any chance come over from a Forest in Nottingham have you?

Which bit? I didn't get the Nottingham bit,but I understood the concerns in the butt department.
That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.
