Simple.
1) Poor leadership. Stevie is a poor leader.
2) Poor midfield. Gerrard and Lucas stand around with the back four and surrender the centre of the park to the opposition. we need a midfield general and a playmaker or two. We need a Viera or a Alonso!!!!!! But we have the likes of Henserson? Souness he is not.
3) Experienced LOUD defenders. Toure is a talker as well as great player, as is Agger. The new guys need to be teamed with either of them to learn from them.
4) Wingers. WTF?? When the opposition pack the defense, a good winger can get to the line and cross or cut it back. this is basic attack "101" as it were. Our lame ass wingers such as sterling ALWAYS cut infield 20 metres from goal - every frickin time!
5) Management and coaching. WTF Where si the commitment, passion and just plain RUNNING. Liverpool players are supposed to be renowned for their running, pressing and supporting. NOT STROLLING AROUND, WALKING ON HEELS.

There is the point though, our attack is wafer thin and our midfield almost invisible. We did nothing to solve our problems in attack and midfield during the transfer window, and we been punished for it.

The problem with the team is the manager- wrong tactics, wrong team selection, bad decision making in the transfer market, players being picked on reputation rather than form.

The problem with the team is the manager- wrong tactics, wrong team selection, bad decision making in the transfer market, players being picked on reputation rather than form. Who else do we have that we can replace those 'out of form' players? Have you looked at our bench recently?

our problem has to be the middle of the park, Henderson lucas,if they went on the market you would be lucky to get 15m for the pair. and gerrard not playing in his best position.
