Alberto's got a good chance of starting on Saturday after that performance, Rodgers was at the game.
I doubt that he'll start but it would be good to have a bit of competition for that central attacking role behind the strikers. It was noticeable on Monday that without coutinho we lack a player to link our midfield with front players and Alberto could be that man.
Rodgers like to reward good performance of the under 21s, so he will make the bench.

It will be interesting to see what team we put out against Man u in the cup next week. Without any european competition we could play close to full strength but at the same time it's a good opportunity to give the likes of Alberto, Illori, Sterling, Kelly and Ibe a run out. Maybe Old Trafford isn't the place to do that though.
Damn, i forgot that he's back. I'm looking forward to his return but it will be strange after his attitude over the summer. I just hope that he shows the same level of commitment as he did before and that he can rebuild a few bridges with his goals before his inevitable departure over the next 12 months.
