I know it's the lads first game and not an easy place to go but his reading of the game and positioning of the game was poor

He has been thrown in with a right back who was very poor and a left back who had a poor game also. Add to that his CB partner was having his second start this year it was not that bad.

Wisdom was awful tonight. Blindly playing the ball up the pitch or out of play or being chased back 40 yards with the ball. Much rather have Kelly in there.

His main weakness was positioning as he was tackling too quickly instead of holding his position in a couple of occasions. I put that to not being used to the fast game in the EPL, it is slower in France, Evra had the same problem or even worse when he started. I think he will get it right. I am more worried about Aspas to be honest, he is completely lost.

I thought he was harsher on Skrtel post match.

Someone mentioned leaders. Agger or Toure need to be there I think to lead the back 4. Don't rate Wisdom either - looking forward to Kelly coming back.
