our next three league games are:

Swansea A
Southampton H
Sunderland A

What would be realistic and acceptable points tally from these three games?

for me anything less than 6 points would be a disaster!

For me anything below 4 is a disaster. 5 would be poor. 6 would be ok and 7 or 9 would be a good result

Swansea is the toughie if we can beat them the expectations will hit the roof because I can see us beating Southampton at home which would give us 5 out of 5 and the confidence of the squad going to sunderland would be massive I would take 7 points out of the 3 games that would be excellent

Funnily enough, I think Southampton will be the biggest challenge of those. 7 points seems the least we should expect and 9 would be great. I think we have the quality to beat each of those teams. If we aim for anything less than 9 I will be very very upset. 7 is the minimum I would accept.

BR and the team will be aiming to win all 3 without doubt but aiming to do it and actually doing it are totally different the more games we win the more pressure it will be and the reaction to our first defeat will be important because it will happen if we bounce back straight away we will be on course for a good season I just think the way the teams playing and coupled with LS coming back could prove pivitoland we can keep this run going for as long as possible heres hoping .

I hope we can. One thing that has always worried me though is that we play like more of a TEAM when Luis is absent. I want him back in the team as he undeniably has lots to offer, but I want us to keep that team spirit. I fear some of it could be lost when Luis returns.x

there's no chance we will win all three, I don't even remember the last time we won six in a row. but if we want CL football then two wins is a must for me.

These next 3 games will be interesting,as in previous seasons for as long as I can remember we always managed to fukk things up in a big way when on paper we expect close to max points.
2 out of 9 points coming up. crazy

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

for as long as I have supported Liverpool we have fck up when we have a run of fixtures like this.
I hope its something that BR can manage to remove from the club, I feel we've always taken these games for granted & have only been fully committed in the bigger games.

Totally agree (not with the kiss on the end though).

Basically, Luis needs to be more disciplined in his positioning. Sick of seeing him throw crosses into the box and he's not there to receive them.

A real test of BR's managerial skills I think.
