after the late window additions my opinion of FSG are very very good, better than Moors definitely..
the team:
we now have 2, yes 2 goal hungry strikers that play well with the ball, and another pair in Aspas and Moses that can fill in.
we have a great playmaker behind them who is becoming one of the best in the world at that final pass, Aspas and Moses should do hard work and running beside him.
the MF trio of Hendo Gerrard Lievia are forming a strong shield in front of the defense
we have 4, yes 4 new defenders, Tour is great so far, Iliori is a young talent and Sakho is a strong athletic player that can start now, also the competition is pushing Skrtel and Enrique to up their game
Mignolet is a keeper that makes his defenders(and Liverpool fan) more comfortable.
the psychological effect:
getting almost a full team in and kicking 8 players out is no doubt a shock to the rest of the players, makes them realize this is getting serious and they better get serious themselves.
the business:
FSG are making this a healthy club financially, and they still managed to get 8 players in
they bought this club specifically for its history and they know that maintaining and increasing the value requires the club getting back to success and they are working on it without dumping debt on the club, every fan should be happy with this.
final comment:
so we did not get that fantastic attacker, we tried but the opportunity just did not come, it's clear that they want to get this one right and not just spend to shut up the fans, Moses is clearly a stop gap(and a good one) until we can pull it off later

Moses is NOT a striker and Aspas has done little to prove he is anything better than Borini. Even BR is struggling as he's subbed him in every game.

Coutinhi is good for 45 mins at Premiership level and gives the ball away too easily when tired. Seriously needs to up his fitness. Way off being the best in the world...purleeez

Lucas is scary. Way too many free kicks on the edge of the box. A shadow of the player he was 2 seasons ago and a liability at times. Hendo and Gerrard are strong though.

His distribution (Minge Oh lay) is pi55 poor and every corner feels like a gaol waiting to happen. No better than Pepe in my book. Speak for yourself when it comes to comfort,

Yeah, so much of a shock that Pepe, Saurez, Aggar and Skittle all wanted off as they could see what was happening. I think you're a bit blinkered there mate!

Bollox as well I'm afraid. FSG bought the club because it was a bargain. Valued at £550 mil and paid only £300 Mil. Thought they where buying easy profit and expected us to be in Champions League. This is well documented and you really should read up.
Considering our owner is worth $1.5 Billion, and the Red Sox Annual salary is over $140 MILLION a year, FSG have invested phuck all into LFC.

Oh dear. And how far down the table do we have to slip before you think, hang on. FSG haven't really done anything to guide us to success but only make the Balance Sheet look more attractive.

Giving a hell of a lot of credit to an owner there EM. Bar a doth of the cap in appointing him (which they obviously sought advice in doing) 90% of the turnaround in the club as you see it is down to Rogers and how he wants things done. Much of the change would be the same whether they were the owners or not. They caused us a years delay in moving forward with that shambolic window failure over pennies, and he has improved things despite them not because of them.
My hope is as their confidence has grown in his ability to manage in some ways more like a general manager as well as coach, they will listen and trust his judgement more.

Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.

I think the main lesson so far is that FSG will do good things economically, and the finances will improve over coming years. The don't understand football fully yet, and it will be even longer before they understand LiverpoolFC and the supporters. My prediction is that within 3-4 years the financial health of LFC will be assured, and our playing objectives will be much higher. Brucie
I envy you guys that get to Anfield regularly, I just loose massive amounts of sleep watching on the box.

The most important thing in football and business is that the club is financially secure. If its nit then the morale of the place turns to sh1t and filters through to every level.
I can use an AFL club as an example who only 13 years ago were on the verge of bankruptcy. They scouted the best CEO in the business who tightened the purse strings off and on the pitch and got the club financially secure. Since then the club have played in every finals series bar one, the ground and stadium have been redeveloped and are remaining a regular power in the competition. They have also win 3 premierships in the past 6 years and are a strong chance todo it again this season with the finals just beginning.
I see FSG doing very similar things and to me the future in all parts looks bright. Long may it continue.

not long ago Atletico Madrid where put into administration, now they have a team full of talent and they can afford to sign expensive players, they are doing well in a league dominated by Barca and RealM.
