Rodgers is a joke. His only success is with a team that was already set up by the new Everton manager. He clearly hasn't a clue what he is doing, proof of this is in the Borini and Allen purchases, which FSG backed him with. Tiki-Taka etc. He clearly makes up things as he goes and when something good happens he acts as if it was by design.

Borini was a bad signing but all managers make them more good than bad on rodgers watch. Allen lets give him more time yet we have had some good performances from him. Scainer is just being a bit obtuse at the moment because too many attacks on FSG.

Borini and Allen were his pet signings. He was the one that solely vouched for them, needed them, wanted them. Other signing were part of the scouting network.
Sturridge is just having a bit of luck. He will soon be doing nothing and we will start crying out for a proper striker.
Coutinho is just a kid. He will soon be found out and then where does any creativity come from? We will be looking for 0-0 draws just to pick up a point, because lets face it in truth our defence is as water tight as a colander.

As I spend my life on the circular bus routes in these parts I need to listen in to the gossip doing the rounds to pass the time. what I'm hearing is that in general fans are happy with BR and in fact feel he's hard done by and this is because of FSG's snail pace way of handling transfer dealings and the everyday running of LFC.
It seems most are ok with getting rid of useless high earners ie Joe Cole, Downing etc but are miffed because the squad is too thin and it's taking far too long to land the much needed players.
What I gather the most though is this calm before the storm type feeling, our fans maybe quietly sharpening their knives ready to strike should this window be a disappointment and our season goes down hill because of it. I think we will see some very angry fans who have run out of patience very soon now. Unless of course we buy well in the next five days. That would sum me up

How can we buy anyone? We have no money unless we sold Reina and Suarez (We are stuck with Suarez cos Madrid have no money left) and no intention of increasing the wage bill, as it would set back the phantom development costs of the stadium (likely going into the pockets of the owners).
