Liverpool will get some injuries and then we will be forced to play kids and we will be relegated.

None of our players are good enough for any of the top teams. Sturridge is currently our best player and even he was rejected as not good enough. Coutinho again was a reject. Gerrard is old, and Agger and Skrtel are average defenders at best.

Sterling is a fairy who like Enrique and Kelly are so thick that they failed a blood test.

FSG might not be trying to bleed the club, but by minimising risks we will only ever be a mid table club at best. We can only become a poorer version of Arsenal, were we are forced to sell our players once they become good. We will just find and develop players for other clubs.

The promise of the stadium development will never happen, because the club haven't got the revenue to cover the cost of it. In any case the attendances will drop as they will increase the prices.

You've made me feel so good about our prospects Scainer! Things sounds so much more positive than I was expecting them to be.

So that's one extreme. Here's the other:
Liverpool FC seems to be on the verge of a new exciting era:
-Right now, we are second in the table, one point behind Chelsea with a game in hand.
-Along with Tottenham, we are the only team with a 100% record in the league.
Now, more importantly
-In Phillipe Coutinho, we have one of the most exciting attacking prospects in the premier league, bought quite cheaply.
-We, not Chelsea, were able to make the most of Daniel Sturridge's immense goal scoring prowess.
-We are playing a modern attractive brand of attacking football, proven by the number of goal scoring chances being created.
-Simon Mignolet is one of the best goalkeepers in the country.
-While Tottenham and Manchester United are finding it very difficult to hold on to Gareth Bale and Wayne Rooney respectively, we were able to keep Luis Suarez, one of the best attacking players in the world, with miinimum fuss.

As I spend my life on the circular bus routes in these parts I need to listen in to the gossip doing the rounds to pass the time. what I'm hearing is that in general fans are happy with BR and in fact feel he's hard done by and this is because of FSG's snail pace way of handling transfer dealings and the everyday running of LFC.
It seems most are ok with getting rid of useless high earners ie Joe Cole, Downing etc but are miffed because the squad is too thin and it's taking far too long to land the much needed players.
What I gather the most though is this calm before the storm type feeling, our fans maybe quietly sharpening their knives ready to strike should this window be a disappointment and our season goes down hill because of it. I think we will see some very angry fans who have run out of patience very soon now. Unless of course we buy well in the next five days.

What is disapointing is how much better we could be if the club was given investment.

So thats what makes me pessimistic.

There are things at the club to be optimistic about for one I think Rodgers is doing a decent job. But its so frustrating the poor guy is managing with one hand behind his back.

If scainer is comfortable with that then fine but I am not.
