Look Stanley, I just think it is obvious to see progress. I understand people can just point to the league position and critique, but ultimately I think most fans on here should accept that FSG made mistakes early on, and this is there way of remedying it.
I am not saying don't criticise. I am just saying that anybody that waves the "3 years" flag, is just not taking into account that they have radically overhauled the club since they did make mistakes. It is like holding burglary against somebody for life. It is a bit OTT.

You see you both are already misconstruing my words. This is why I am put off posting on here now. So FSG backing Rodgers like United did Ferguson means they're comparable managers? NO... It means they are looking to give him time to prove himself.
So you're unhappy when FSG have done it both ways. That is why your opinion on them won't change without a shock PL title. It is ridiculous. They spent big and failed, and now they're being frugal, and you're criticising them for doing both. They should give up like you already have if that is the collective opinion!
As for NAFE, if you're disregarding any details, you're not analysing the situation thoroughly. Which means your opinion is founded on juvenile skin-deep responses to everything. Which makes is less objective. Which by proxy makes it less truthful. Which makes it purely an opinion, rather than one founded in justifiable evidence. It makes no sense not to do so.
Look, basically everyone on here is against FSG because they want to be handed the title free of charge. Get FSG to spend astronomically on the club to please you. It is very selfish. It shows no respect to clubs that earn their way. And I think it is very un-Liverpool to suggest it.
That's not selfish at least from SP's perspective, because he is actually spending him own money in the club, while FSG is not, they are only spending the money the fans are putting in the club, either through ticket purchase, merchandising and even tv and sponsorship deals that exist only thanks to fans. What do you know about the Liverpool or un-Liverpool way? I think all unhappy fans should stop spending on the club (as I have done), only then FSG will understand.

If I had a choice I would not pay a penny to the club at the moment. But if you give you're season ticket up that's it plus I go with people have been to the game with for years so not easy.

FSG spent money buying the club. That has to be one of the most ludicrous openings I have heard from you Vish. Sorry, but to compare a fans contribution to a group of investors that spent millions buying the club has to be a joke. Time investment is a whole different comparison.
I think it is very un-Liverpool to sit whining about other clubs having money when we don't, and moaning continuously at the club for not having it. The club is focusing on improving itself and rather than trying to back them doing it, they have a bunch of fans who all think they know better telling them to open up a treasure chest of their own money and fund their pipe dreams...
The club's motto in walking alone is definitely not being helped by fans jumping on the hatred bandwagon. To me, it is veiled selfishness. They are fans that can't stand others being successful, and give them little to no respect, and are expecting instant results as though they are deserving. It reeks of an adolescent attitude.

You have a choice. No one is holding a gun to your head. It is just that you choose to go. You might not be happy about the price, but at the end of the day, you are still willing to spend it, as you do, because going to the game with friends, makes you happy. You will not fall over and die if you miss a game Stanley, nor will the world stop rotating. You choose to go. I know it has eveolved into a tradition and a habbit, but you really need to recognize that you DO HAVE A CHOICE and that YOU ARE EXTREMELY LUCKY to be able to go.

Instant results we last won the title in 1990.
You would serve your cause (whatever it may be) by not peppering it with insults to those who may have an alternate viewpoint

Look. I am not on here to insult you. But rather than hold a discussion about things, the "ardent fanbase" instead chooses to not only disregard, but insult me for having my alternate opinion.
I think the club is not guaranteed success, nor is any club. But there is some attitude by fans that did witness our glory days that feel we are somehow entitled to it. That the club is basically just a thing to support through success, and against when it is not the case. That is exactly how it is coming across.

Were FSG in charge in 1990!? No...
You can't expect some random guy to come in, bail us out, spend huge amounts of money catching us back up to win titles... Life doesn't work on anything other than hard-work and talent, and for the first time since Rafa, we're actually building a group willing to try and master both. I am not going to sit here arguing with you all day. I do honestly believe that I've tried my best to justify myself, and you've mis-quoted me already trying to argue back. Have an alternate opinion, I just can't quite believe people are so against everything in the club right now. It just doesn't fathom.

Sorry mate, I don't think you get the gist of it when it comes to finances. FSG hasn't spent money, they have invested in an asset called LFC. They have only changed the form of their asset, from cash to a company. It's like you buying a house, you are not spending money in finance terms, because you can sell the house to get back your money. They can do the same with LFC and probably even get more money they used when they bought the club. What people are asking is to invest in the club, ie, inject their own capital turn around the situation of the club a eventually get their returns. Why? Because we have to catch up on a few clubs, bridge the gap and then they can play their self sustaining game. Else the gap will only get bigger (this is what has been happening in the las 4 years). This is how honest business people work as opposed to speculators.

Excuse me Vish, but fans money is not obligational. Nor do the club have to spend it as the fans request it to be. They have the right to do whatever they want with it because they spent millions buying the club. They bought the assets of the club, and ultimately have much more than just fans contributing to paying for things.
You are right in saying that the only way of you getting your way is harming the club and them by proxy, by removing your income. But the fanbase is big enough to cope. So I guess they won't worry about you not being a "paying fan" anymore.
I just think anybody that believes they HAVE TO and that it is the ONLY CHOICE doesn't understand business past first base. So if you believe it, I'm sorry, but I think you fall under that same umbrella. I don't mean to insult, but spending money is not the only option, and any good businessman understands that there are a number of options to go down, and it is not all down to just throwing money in a pot. And that basically summarises everybodys opinion on what has to be done that is against FSG.
