IMO, it is simple.. fans shouldnt be talking about transfer cost and wages. Every LFC fan is becoming an accountant, ticket income, franchising, net spend, sponsor income, wage bill.. its stupid. FSG bought the club on the cheap with the promise of a new stadium. Marko is his name ? I get his point. We moan money is ruining the game but we want FSG to spend big. My views on this are that yes money is ruining the game but LFC will not change the game, that is up to FIFA and all football associations not us. We need to compete in the current market. Value for money i agree with but missing out on top class players willing to join us which atm are rare, for the sake of 2-3m is stupid to me, Wesley Sneijder was available for 5m in January surely that is value for money ?
Spending an extra 5 million than what we are willing could have landed us 2 top players this summer. Where else will that 5m be spend ? nowhere! That is what narks we about FSG. They cut cost but the money will not go on other things. They suck all the money out of the club they can and put nothing back in.

The Ferguson analogy does not work not me nor does FSG being uber effecient.

Dealing with FSG first their 3 years ruling us points to anything but effcient they first reacted to events with one mistake and misjudgement after another.

Second Ferguson even if Rodgers is as good as Ferguson (A very big if) let us not forget Ferguson always had a large transfer budget. One key moment in both our clubs development was when he outbid us for Roy Keane.

And thats not an explanation jmelling just a set of buzz words strung together. Its incoherant.

Give me a step by step process that will get us to say 2nd place in say 4 years.

Now the accountant side of me says In the first year FSG were in charge our wage bill was slashed by 25m per year, that after the signings of Hendo, Carroll, Suarez, Downing, Adam ect. ect. We get 20m from Standard Charter per year as well as 26m from Warrior. As well as merch. sales and also around 60m per year from TV.

So with all this income, the reduced wage bill, No longer sticking to the promise of a new stadium which saves them 100s of millions and buying a club as big as LFC for under 300m (Fulham have recently been purchased for around 200m) why are ticket prices rising ? to improve around revenue for what ? Where is all this money going because its not on big money signings or anything to benefit the club ?

You see you both are already misconstruing my words. This is why I am put off posting on here now. So FSG backing Rodgers like United did Ferguson means they're comparable managers? NO... It means they are looking to give him time to prove himself.

So you're unhappy when FSG have done it both ways. That is why your opinion on them won't change without a shock PL title. It is ridiculous. They spent big and failed, and now they're being frugal, and you're criticising them for doing both. They should give up like you already have if that is the collective opinion!

As for NAFE, if you're disregarding any details, you're not analysing the situation thoroughly. Which means your opinion is founded on juvenile skin-deep responses to everything. Which makes is less objective. Which by proxy makes it less truthful. Which makes it purely an opinion, rather than one founded in justifiable evidence. It makes no sense not to do so.

Look, basically everyone on here is against FSG because they want to be handed the title free of charge. Get FSG to spend astronomically on the club to please you. It is very selfish. It shows no respect to clubs that earn their way. And I think it is very un-Liverpool to suggest it.

Is it not "incoherent?" Somebody isn't helping their own cause.
