I think realistically 6th place and that will be doing well. That is assuming we keep Suarez and don't sign any top players. If we sign a couple of top players then with luck we might be able to compete with aresnal and spurs.

I don't think FSG care either way to be honest

The first 3 places in the league will go to Chelsea, City and United.

Then it's Arsenal and Spurs fighting for 4th and 5th respectively.

Which leaves us fighting for 6th.

Can't see anything different to that. We've finished 6th, 7th, 8th and 7th the last four years.

We've cut costs massively as we were playing out CL wages but not getting into the competition.

But thats also left us short of experienced players and consequently makes us have to rely on kids to do a mans job.

That is also not sustainable. Can't see us finishing any higher than 6th.

If anyone thinks 4th is achievable given our current playing staff your massively underestimating our plight there is not a chance in hell we will get fourth.

As we are today 6th is the best we can realistically hope for. But it could end up very badly especially if saurez leaves with no replacement we could end up 10 th or something like that.

I seriously think br is 3 quality 1st team players short of having a very strong starting 11, that can win the epl title...

Really what league have you been watching? You could within one or two teams have predicted the title and the top 4 for the past 20 years.

Those 3 players would command a combined fee of around £60m+ plus around £12m a year in wages or around 15% of our total wage budget..

Not gonna happen.

The way things are currently, I expect us to finish above Arsenal in 5th place at the least. Spurs look stronger after all their signings, also taking them above the gooners. If we sort out our problem finishing all the chances we create I expect a tight fight with spurs for the 4th spot.

I think 5th or 6th is realistic with an outside chance of 4th. Bale is probably gone given the money spurs are spending. Soldado will get goals but I'm not too sure how they will cope without him. The points Spurs got from Bale's goals were about 10 more than the points we got from Suarez. Arsenal are going to struggle so I can see us passing them. Assuming we play to our potential, it all comes down to how well Spurs play if we get 4th or not. Just my opinion though.

Hopefully a front three of Suarez, Sturridge, and Aspas will be enough to get us 4th. I still think our attack is a little weak if one of them is injured or...suspended.

It seems most people think we will finish about 5th or 6th, I agree with that (for now) but we should sign a couple of players before the united game, I'm hoping we'll all be revising our predictions upwards.
