The season has started , the transfer window has about 10 days left

Given everything we have seen the first batch of games what are your honest expectations this season

I think top 4 may be very difficult so 5th place is possible

Good runs in both cups and winning one of them preferably the FA Cup

I think we are the outside bet for 4th, but it is very possible. I think Arsenal will be hot and cold again, and Spurs will have Europa League annoyance and drop points.

Outsiders for 4th. Will probably end up at 5th.

I don't understand why anybody should expect anything less than top 4. This is the stated target of BR, anything else will be his failure and that of his employees. Every LFC fan everywhere (on forums, blogs, articles, in the stadium efc) should put pressure on FSG/BR to make our voices heard, else it will mean that they have been successful in managing our expectations...downwards.

You cannot control other teams. Expect 4th all you want but if Arsenal and Spurs play well all season it wont matter what we do apart from in the head to heads

Brendan Rodgers, John Henry and Tom Werner can all come out and say absolutely whatever they want, but that certainly wont change my expectations for the season. Given the small amount of investment in the squad, I expect a top six finish.

Sorry, by top six I mean finishing 5th or 6th.. no higher than that.

If no more players r signed until jan 2014....

This team/squad will finish no higher than 6 th place..

If 2/3 quality players r signed for the starting 11, b4 this transfer window closes

Then a top four finish is highly likely ...

Come jan14, if lfc r 6/9 points off top spot, add another 2 quality players and the epl title will be ours
