Swansea player (Canas) got booked after about 6 minutes for alleged high tackle. Replay showed no malice, he just slid in making little physical contact but opponent predictably flew into the air. Canas is Swansea's defensive CM and was immediately on a knife edge.
No more than 2 minutes later, ManUre player commited an almost carbon-copy offence. Referee didn't even give a free kick let alone book the tw@t. Immediately being led to believe there is one rule for ManUre and one for them could hardly have improved the confidence of Swansea players or their fans.
The post-match love-in on Sky Sports, led by the only genuine Spice Boy, made me sick. It redefined the meaning of the word sycophancy. How I fecking hate Sky!

I think the BBC just focus on the best and biggest Clubs in the league so clubs like United, Chelsea, City and Arsenal are always going to Hogg the headlines more than the smaller clubs, there games are always going to be concentrated and highlighted more too, wouldn't really worry about it as its just the way football works...

Plus if it's all going to go wrong at united,it will be a slow erosion as Moyes dismantles the tem piece by piece.

Having said that as much as doing well gets you headlines so does doing badly, the two main thing in today's papers was United and there great victory yesterday and Arsenals loss against Villa, which shows headlines are made by the big clubs either doing very, very well or very, very poor...

The papers like to make Arsenal's situation look like a crisis every year, then they still finish in the top four I think they want to get Wenger sacked

The papers like to make Arsenal's situation look like a crisis every year, then they still finish in the top four I think they want to get Wenger sacked there is unbearable pressure on Wenger now to sign somebody, wouldn't like to think what would happen if they never signed somebody before the deadline and then if they lost the very next game after it closed, imagine what it would be like then. I think your completely right in that all these bad results won't make a blind bit of difference to Arsenal and where they will finish because they will just do the usual and put in a run which will guarantee them there usual top four finish, bit like United in winning the League unfortunately...

Spurs could really push them this year though! I'd like us to but it might be one season to soon.
