I thought of this, this morning and I just wondered what the rest of you thought. We all know that Suarez won't be going due to length of time to replace him etc and BR et all have said that he won't play again until he apologises, which history and current antics shows that he is unlikely to do.So my theory is the Yanks are basically preparing to pay him his basic wages but keep him in the reserves. We have spent nothing this summer relative to what we have gotten in,his wages must be over 5 million per year.Yanks can be very bloody minded and are preparing for a Mexican stand off. When Henry has made such definitive statements and the man doesn't even watch his own club play I think they are going to play hardball(sorry).Paying him for nothing will hurt us,Suarez will still get paid but he will lose all his playing/goal/assist bonuses. In addition and more importantly would he get picked for the world cup when he will only have played competitive football for Uruguay in internationals this season. If he goes on strike, fine we don't even have to pay him and he still has two years left on his contract after this season. He agitated until he got his move to Ajax even though he lost in court,I think he might find that if he looks throughout history that if the Yanks don't want to budge then he is screwed.I know it's a bit weird but if and when someone replies please do so seriously thanks

There's too much at stake to get into that situation. For both parties

It will be sorted out soon.

Money is all

They will agree a deal to sell saurez in the january window probably for about £40 to £45 million allowing Suarez to pocket bigger wages. Would not be surprised if its with aresnal especially as banned for first 6 prem games.

Then a solcitors will read out a prepared (on saurez behalf) statement to the press Suarez won't even have read it never mind mean it.

But that's modern football all about mercenaries and money.

Total waste of time us watching it to be honest

"It became glaringly obvious that we could not afford to keep a player with Luis state of mind in the group, we are trying to grow the group as a group and it was impossible to incorporate Luis in to that group, we had to act quick to find a replacement and the owners were superb in their support of what we are trying to do to improve the group as a group, they put a lot of work in to coaxing Robbie to return from LA where he has been in great form and a vital member of the galaxy team"

It's all mind games.

They're just waiting for him to submit a transfer request. Once that is done, he'll be sold without having to pay him off.
