I agree! It was better during the season than it is now. But it has given new posters more if a chance to get a foot hold on the forum. I hope the people that have stopped posting during the summer come back though.

not un-moderatable, no one said that at all. this isnt necessarily about moderating, im talking about what has changed around here and why stan. you have no idea how much some people notify, and the reasons they do it for.
like wakka said, 30-40 notifications after a few days and not one of them worth a shiite. seriously like, wtf is the point in that? why are people coming on if they are hitting the notify button that much? ill tell you why. because they are coming on to hit the notify button. Mate of mine moderates a facebook page and every day spends an hour settling petty squabbles between men and women normally in their 40 and 50,s behaving like 4 year olds. There are only a few regular posters on here and why can some have a little more backbone and self respect ? Notify should be a last resort and for serious issues. If you are reading this whoever you are you are a big big soft baby. Grow up ! i think it's a bit sad the way it's gone, for a few weeks recently it had all calmed down and then since last week it all kicked off again with name calling and accusations of baiting, we even got to the point were Mods were spearing at posters. I think because there has been no footie it may be a relevant factor so lets just wait until the footie starts and see if things calm down, am sure it will a bit... That was probably while you were choosing a new username. in the good spirit of the forum I will take that comment in good banter spirit instead of you trying to delibrately provoke a reaction, see even I can get past these types of posts so we can all try at least, sound fair...

I openly admit to hitting the notify button, have been banned once or twice in the past for having a go back to people on here who wete ganging up and having a go at me. When I eventually came back I listened to Dunk who told us not to respond but instead report them and let him deal with them instead of responding and getting banned, I took his advice and got wise. I don't mind people having a go at me because if you give a bit out you have to accept a bit back which is fine but swearing at me like the Mod did or name calling I won't accept and will continue to report if I need to, best just let Dunk sort things out than risk getting banned, just my opinion.
Just one more think, think the ganging up on faz on this thread is out of order, he is well within his rights to report a few for that, he's a good reporter on here faz and deserves more respect than that... Always the victim

Just one thing though, back on the topic of moderators..
Does it really matter who the mod is? (within reason) I mean, all this talk of who would be the "best candidate" makes it sound like some class president drive from a shitty american teen flick - when all you really need is someone who's just here all the time.
Am I wrong? Class President two years running  Just saying.
