Looking forward to Capital One Draw today, think its a Cup we can definitely win so I fully expect a different approach from Rodgers towards it this year as he was a disgrace the way he treated all the Cups last season. We really need to try and win one of the cups as we are now a club that has no chance of winning Leagues or qualifying for Champions Leagues...

I think we should always try to have a good cup run, They are taken too lightly, plus even though its not much. It still brings us in some money. Dont right us off over the champions league spot before a balls been kicked, nobody knows.

i think we do know some things before a ball is kicked, Arsenal won't win the league or champions league and Liverpool, Everton, Fulham and West Brom won't be finishing in the top four, some things although not quite impossible are still nailed on certs...

well that was what they wanted to try and organise, two leagues with about 12 or 14 teams in each, the top one with all the big boys on like United, Barca, Madrid, Arsenal, City, Chelsea and Bayern e.t.c. And the second tier with the likes of ourselves, Spurs, Olympikos, Marseille and a few Rusky Clubs. This is what they wanted but dont know why it never happend, decent idea though...

Agreed. And it should have some kind of relegation/promotion rule included. Or maybe N:o 1-4 in EPL = CL 1. N:o 5-8 = CL 2.

Better that then the toothless Europa League. That one is for the Mickey Mouse Leagues around Europe IMO - and also for the likes of Stoke, W Brom et al. who often occupy places around 15 or so in EPL.

Look at it now - it's a joke that for example teams from Faroe islands enter Europa League but not Liverpool!

I don't agree, I think every country should have a representative. We had a chance to qualify and we didn't take it. It's our fault.
