A willy Waving combat zone would be a good idea, however I feel you will soon notice the minute they're asked to get their willies out in a specific thread they will lose interest.  What I mean is all threads go off topic and turn into arguments if a thread was opened to discuss the argument posters would soon loose interest.....problem nipped in bud though ?.

Whoever is. The new mods will have the same problem that drove wakka and flames out people notifying to get their own back on a person. And the mods will be sorting it out.
Something needs to be done to address that issue I don't know what. And there should be more self policing by members
That's my view
Remove the 'notify' button completely then. Got a problem, then spit it out for all to see and judge.....in the... 'COMBAT ZONE'!

No. Combat Zone isn't for 'willy waving', it's for general ranting hurling abuse and general witty and sometimes not so witty banter. Just trying to look at this nonsense from a slightly different angle. Can't stand all this pettiness. We all SUPPOSED to be grown up FFS!  Willy wavers are simply wannabe mods.

Seem to be some sensible suggestions. I would love to have a go but Hendo is right, I am not around enough and to be honest I like this place but would like it to be something else. Something that it will never be so for that reason I am out for now. And that's precisely why I nominated you. This place needs a fresh infusion of energy... and not mods camped out on the site 24/7. The worst thing Dunk could do is give it to one of the 'regulars' - or these people nominating themselves because they think it will bring them some sort of power. People like you, Lumba, Lain, etc., would be perfect because you don't get embroiled in all the bickering... and you have a fresh outlook when you do pipe in. OK. If they will have me I'll do it.

LOL,I would never bother with a notify button, if someone upsets me I'll just say it to them. If I have no interest in a post then I don't reply. It may be worth doing away with the button because I don't think anything will stop posters arguing or taking offence which takes the thread off topic. I don't mind posters arguing myself I can just bypass it If I wish until I reach the back on topic posts. The arguments soon pass anyway.

Hi Growls, In my little book of acceptable Willy waving Ways it covers all forms of willy Waving including ranting, hurling abuse, and most of all general witty or not so witty banter.
