I appreciate you suggesting my name Prolific. I'd enjoy moderating, though I know once uni starts I'll struggle to be on here most of the time. Like a previous comment, it might be good if multiple Mods had to suggest suspensions/banning for the person to be removed. I'm also a big advocate for not banning and just temp. suspensions. Banning just seems so permanent and not always fair to the people in question. Sometimes people make mistakes and speak rashly, and an apology and a short-ban would help keep the forum going and community feel going.

Seem to be some sensible suggestions. I would love to have a go but Hendo is right, I am not around enough and to be honest I like this place but would like it to be something else. Something that it will never be so for that reason I am out for now.

Whoever is. The new mods will have the same problem that drove wakka and flames out people notifying to get their own back on a person. And the mods will be sorting it out.

Something needs to be done to address that issue I don't know what. And there should be more self policing by members

I agree in general Stanley, but it is very difficult. I genuinely believe that the main problem on here is the fact the a number of posters refuse to explain and substantiate their views. Coming out with edgy posts and controversial views is fine by me, but I think they need to be explained.

It is when they are not explained or substantiated that other posters view them as baiting. I mean, if someone comes out and says "Gerrard is cr@p", that's fine, it might be their opinion, but it has to be explained and substantiated. Otherwise, you can see why some would see it as baiting.

In my eyes, that is what is causing the most problems on here, that and the fact that certain posters refuse to acknowledge other posts, and pretend to be clueless as to what's going on when indeed they know very very well. That has been happening a lot too lately.
