Right im writing this to let off a little steam. Quite frankly does anyone out there understand what rafa is trying to do?

We play a 4-4-1-1 formation with 2 defensive midfielders. The only time i agree with this formation is against the elites of europe, do we really need to play this defensive style against ( no disrespect) the fulhams or wigans of this world?

In my mind you have to ballance defence with offence so playing this formation surely you need fast attack minded players supporting the loan striker up front? so beni picks kuyt? no disrespect to kuyt but he is not a right winger!

Ngog gets in all the time??? why not put kuyt there??? he scored 25 goals a season in holland but rafa buys him and sticks him on the wing!!

Lucas is clearly a squad player at best yet he seems to be the first name on the teamsheet everyweek! put gerro back there as his pace is clearly diminishing due to his age and play aqua or pacheco supporting the front man?

He treats player very unfairly imo, some players can be awful for weeks on end and not get dropped whereas others have one bad game and they get dropped for months! People slate Robbie Keane but he is one such player, He scores 2 goals against arsenal then he was dropped for the next game!?!? wtf?

Rafa must surely see that he needs to walk away before the damage is to great to recover from

i think the formation we play is 4-2-3-1 by the way arsenal play a similar formation, united play 4-5-1 alot these days, its not really about formation its about players and the type of football you play,

Agree. Rafa will play the formation defensively when Arse and Manure play it with attack in mind. In that kind of formation you don't need 2 DM's especially when one of them is Lucas!

you all do know that we played the same formation and played in the same style last season and finished 2nd

lucas always looks like he's on work experience, rafa tells him follow masch around and try to see what he does! the result is everytime masch turns lucas is bet up his hole. we dont need two holding players, id like to see gerrard move back tbh
