In the event of Suarez leaving, and supposing that the money from the sale will be available for buying a replacement (in the 40-50 million bracket), who do you suggest as a reasonable choice among the available names?

Tough question about who could replace Suarez, i really dont know. Heis such a unique type of player. Perhaps Alexis Sanchez, simillar style of play, always dribbling and biting at the heels of defenders. Maybe ADEM LJAJIC from Fiorentina, fantastic young player who definately would be a useful addition but I fear he would cost very very much.

From what I read, Suarez leaving would likely mean we bring in a right-sided player, able to play up front but primarily in a second striker position.

I think Real Madrid want nothing to do with him, and if they land Bale, which I hope they will, then he only has Arsenal, as no other club wants anything to do with him either, apparently!
If and when the Arsenal interest burns out, then is when we should cut the little pri*k’s wages and bonuses. That might put manners on him.
