I do believe that teams have "bogey" teams to be honest, not set in stone but for periods of 2 - 3 years at times, Stoke always seem to take valuable points off us, Everton always seem to do well against United, Stoke are another one who Chelsea usually have trouble with too.

No,this is not a good town for psychedelic drugs.Reality itself is too twisted.

We can't stop here, this is bat country!

how on earth can I be being silly when people are talking about mythical bogey teams, you get beat on the day by any team if you don't take your chances and the opposition take there's simple as, what's next Ghosts and Goblins transpiring against us haha.

I think Forrest were ours back in the day ?
nothing to do with Forest having some one of the best managers, fantastic players including the best keeper in the world probably, they also won the league. backed it up with two European Cups in successive years and beat us in The League Cup final and also a semi all in about 5 years, hardly a bogey team.

Mick. What you're suggesting is that any team that beats another is by proxy of equal quality... If you take every game last season, every team in the PL was of equal quality by proxy. You are not thinking logically.

Every team has teams every year they struggle against. When teams play their very best, and another plays their very worst. That you're dismissing it out of hand is to me, utterly ridiculous. You wonder why people take your statements with a pinch of salt? You are on here to rile people up. I don't think anyone in the world thinks the same way.

Bogey teams do exist. If they didn't, there wouldn't be a term for it. It is a team that another seems to struggle to beat when on paper, there shouldn't be a problem. You can idealise as much as you like, but they do, and have done from since before you were born, and will do until after you go.

Man utd were perhaps our top bogey team in the 80's they were very average all year but used to play like world beaters when they played us.

just watching this thailand game , winning doing ok , but it clear from the wringing wet shirts that its massive heat and humidity and even fit players will suffer in that sort of heat and humidity , personally i dont know if its helps with fitness or not .

exactly, anybody can beat anybody if you lift your game take your chances at the same time the opposition don't take there's. I think the Wimbledon game in the Cup final was prime example, we were very wasteful in front of goal and Wimbledon took there one and only chance they got, nothing to do with bogey teams, supernatural events, the grass too long or the ball too round.

So anybody can be as good as anybody but (as suggested by you previously) we can't be as good as Arsenal?! Hypocritical.
