I am not a babel fan not because of his lack of talent but his attitude. But.. he has had a good last two games and city will leave a bit of space plus its a big pitch there so I would start him. Either on left or up front.

im not a big fan either but i can see your point. we're stuck with him until the summer at least so we might as well use him, especially if he's in form which i think he is. n'gog scored the other day but didn't look good overall. i would start with babel upfront...

I managed to bag two tickets for the 2006 cup final in Cardiff but in the Arsenal end. My best mate and I got to our seats to find two of the meanest and ugliest meat heads I've ever seen! When Owen banged in the equaliser everybody around me started looking around at each other and what seemed to last a life time but could have only been 10 in reality everybody just leapt out of their seats and started dancing with joy! me included!! By the time the 2nd went in I had one of the meat heads more or less in a headlock while my mate was kissing the other! Fair play to these bloke they where two of the nicest guys you could wish to meet.

1988 I was at Old Trafford with another Liverpool fan.

We were in the Utd end having been loaned a workmate’s Man Utd season tickets as he could not go. My mate was very jumpy, to be fair to him this was in the days when crowd violence was a lot worse than it is now. We both made a pact we would not jump up if Liverpool scored. John Barnes scored and the next thing I know I was stood up and shouting at the top of my voice. The next thing I noticed was I was the only one in a stand of 10,000 people doing so and worse they were all looking at me. My mate looked as white as a sheet we were done for. To be fair no violence occurred I did hear one chap say something like “scouse bathtub” but I could not hear properly what he said. But unfortunately Utd then went on to score three times and won 3.1 Mcclair and Beardsmore scoring I think. Each time they scored they kept tapping us on the head and pointing to the players as if we had not noticed the event. The time seemed like about 6 hours before the final whistle never been so glad to see the M62.

Its a must win game but I can't see us winning. Don't like to be pessimistic but we don't really have a good goal threat apart from Stevie. Hope they prove me wrong and win but a draw will do.
