The performance/result was quite different to the Arsenal game there isn't it, or was it cooler then? I don't think though that we need to draw a lot of conclusions from that game, hot or not.

There actually has been a heatwave down here. A very sunny patch in what is normally the rainy season. There were also 7 players changed in their team from the arsenal game. Comparing our win to theirs is not going to get anywhere. Were we a better team than them because we beat spurs and they didn't? No. It's a fruitless comparison, especially in the pre-season.

Was not really comparing as I said, won't make sense to draw too many conclusions, was just wondering if Arsenal suffered from the heat as we did according to you.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to antagonize. My answer to the arsenal question would be not quite. Normally during the rainy season it is quite hot, but it rains every other day or so which cools things off a bit. This week has been much less rainy, and consequently less hot. I haven't been checking the weather in Jakarta, but throughout Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia this has been the trend this week.

But you are quite right, we can't draw conclusions from this, which is what I mean to say in my last post.

Nobody wants to draw conclusions because we won the game. Had we lost or even drawn, those same people would have drawn some very serious conclusions regarding the future of LFC as a whole! My conclusion from the game? Sterling is going to feature big time in the upcoming season.

I'd like to see him and Ibe be our primary impact subs along with Alberto/Henderson.
