I really hope you guys are right BUT our first important game aint that far away and we look disjointed to say the least. Faz you'll be in the crowd (luckily) watching and if were not 1000% better you'll be on here giving it welly. We need a flying start and our guys look stale IN PRE SEASON

We had total control on the game, however, we really struggled to break through a team that parked the bus with 8-9 outfield players behind the ball. The bad pitch didn't help and the second goal came on a counter. We could have scored more with the ball hitting the post a couple of times and Aspas missing an empty post from a more or less difficult angle. Difficult to draw conclusions but Sterling had a good game again, Alberto had a much better game than last time, Mignolet looked solid, but our passing was sloppy in the last third of the pitch a lot of it because of it's bad state I think. We won, so good for the morale at least, not like City losing 2 games in South Africa (but they are still building their team with 100m worth of players not involved)

City lost both of their pre-season games. United lost at least one. lets calm down. This is better than we've done in a pre-season tour in years.

What happened to the days where we were considered the most knowledgeable and patient fans in the world?

I am in shock at some of the comments. This is a prime example of what I mean when I say some will never be happy. 2 wins, two games where fitness is slowly improving, no injuries, yet some are unhappy. WHY? I honestly don't get it.
Vish, we might have struggled to break down the door when they parked the bus, but however, we did do it. Scored 2, conceded none. Thats a win. People mention constantly that the sign of a good team is being able to play ugly football yet grind out a result, even when not playing so well. We just did that.
I don't care if every game next season is like that, as long as the result is the same.
YNWA!

Was anyone else impressed with Assaidi yesterday? showed great pace on the break for the second goal and then was calm headed and selfless enough just to square to Sterling for the tap in. He also made some good runs and took it round players.
I was all for selling him and getting our money back, but I think he could have a part to play if he gets a decent chance

YNWA! I said it was good for the morale but I was not impressed with the game. It was a weak team who conceded 7 against Arsenal, that's he only comparison that can be used to understand our performance, but, it doesn't mean much I know.
