What's concerning me at the moment is that all the people I thought would do a good job in replacing Suarez are being bought at reasonable money as Jovetic has just been bought by Man City ,and Negredo, Villa has gone for pennies to Athletico and Benteke looks to be Spurs bound so the question is are we going to end up screwed for a decent forward as surely he will end up leaving do any of you have any other ideas to replace him?

stanley, when City first got there new arab owners, they were just an ordinary Club much like us, they knew in order to get a champions league they had to match the Champions league clubs already in it. They had the money but nothing to entice the players as in profile or Champions league so they knew they had to compensate a top player in order to come, the only thing these modern mercenery players understand in cold hard cash, so Tevez came on 150k, Big Yaya 200k, David Silva 170k and super Mario on 170k. Once they secured some success and players around the world started to hear about them there profile rose a bit so that the next wave of players did'nt have to cost as much, Aguero 170k who the season before would of cost about 200k. they soon won the title which rose there profile considerably and we are now at the stage where the players they sign now are costing closer in wages to Chelsea and United's top earners and would imagine City's new players are on about around 100k like Fernandinio, Navas and Negredo. this is how I see it anyway.

You are quite right, to regularly compete for the Top 4 you need money.

I disagree. not impossible but extremely unlikely is the way I would put it, same for Everton, West Brom and Fulham.
