I never used to, until Dunk told me to notify rather than argue...now I have outbursts...very dependent on my mood. But in general, it would take a lot for me to be truly hurt by someone's post on an Internet forum.

I was at the travel agent today, looking to do a tour of Ireland, see all the touristy places...castles, cliffs and all that jazz. It's so pricey though. 1200 Euros per person, and of course if I come to Irelnd without my lady, she'll leave me...and then I'll have to look after myself again until I find a new wifey. Too much hassle. ;p

In terms of ability? Yes. NO !!! So if respond with YES !!!! do I win because I have more exclamation points? It's a subjective question, but while I agree that Ray Kennedy and Jimmy Case were fighters and legends for the club, I don't believe that they had that x factor that Suarez does. When he has the ball at his feet, it's just magic. He's a fierce competitor, a great mover, a fighter for the ball, a great finisher, and a class creator, but furthermore he has that element of technical brilliance that really can't be taught, but it has been refined through constant effort, desire, determination, and work. It's genius mixed desire and effort in a combination that you really don't often see. Luis Suarez is a special player. He has his problems, yes. Occasionally he's selfish and he has behavioral problems, but there are only 2 footballers on the planet I would trade him for. We can move on, of course, if he leaves, but it would be a hard blow and it would be a mistake.

And my reply to everyone who wants to compare Liverpool now to the Liverpool teams of old, while they were among the best of their generation, champions through and through, and wonderful players, they competed in an era of completely different standards. The drinking culture of the teams before and after games, smoking, lack of controlled diet, and fitness are at a completely different level nowadays. That's not to demean or diminish what they did, but the environment in which they were competing is totally different than that which players are in today.
Look at Johan Cruyff for example. His achievements are incredible, and he's widely regarded as one of the top 5 or 3 players to ever live, but he would never be able to play in the modern game with his smoking habit, drinking, and other issues. He just wouldn't be able to cut it.
Those players may have achieved more, but putting any of them one on one with Suarez, I would bet my house on Suarez every time.

You would love it, it will probably [oops] rain but you would love it. Dublin, Belfast, Galway, Clare, Kerry, Cork, Kilkenny, Donegal, what more could you want?

Like I say you make a good point that the likes of Cryuff and Beckenbaur would not last in today's game but at the same time your Suarez, Gerrards and Messi of today would not of lasted 5 mins when football was a mans game, pansies today would not of stood a chance.

I disagree. Players like Gerrard and Suarez are tougher than you give them credit for, and players like Cruyff and Pele did fine with skill over power. Dalglish was hardly the most physically imposing player, but he did quite well in a very physical era of English football. Suarez grew up playing on the streets of Uruguay, and there is a very streetfighter quality to him. He's a strong player, and I think he would get just as many nutmegs and run circles by just as many people. To hurt him, they'd have to catch him.
You raise another point though. Players like Souness were absolutely filthy players (though great), punching people's lights out when they cameras weren't on them, but they didn't face the same level of scrutiny that players do now. They could hide from the officials and the cameras much easier. Imagine the sh*tstorm that would have caused today, when Suarez get's castrated by the media and banned for 8 matches for the bite that, while weird and low did very little physical harm.
