Well here's a fact: if they have a billion they're not investing much of it in LFC.

And they didn't give loads of money to anybody, but only a shareholder loan of around 50m since they arrived. All the money spent was generated from player sales and fans contribition (merchandise, tickets and TV). One good thing they did do though is to increase sponsorships, in fact, they have well exploited (in a good way) our brand.

I don't think they have invested a penny in LFC.

Levered speculators that's all they are. All this talk of facts the only facts that matter is the league table and its 23 years since we finished on top of that. And with FSG we have never looked further away from being at the top.

Tom Werner is the Chairman. Not sure of his whereabouts though or his 'actual' role. He was appointed by FSG to run the club so you would assume that he's based in the UK and spends a fair amount of time at Anfield/Mellwood? The only thing of note that he has done well is the sacking of Dalglish.
The only name we ever hear though is Ian Ayre who was promoted from Commercial Manager.

Hate to use this as it's going to sound like a cop out, but I genuinely feel it's too early to tell. Ayer appears to do most things and the rest put there heads in the sand including Werner.

Most fans don't like it because they have no intention of being a City.

Little else to say. Stadium is complex and we'll know soon enough with the timetable for submission of planning (or not) whether it's Jackanory and this window whether they are really serious in backing Rogers for a genuine bash at 4th.

Frustrating couple of months until the dust settles methinks.

Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.

Why don't we want to be man city ?

They will be a force in their own right within 5 years take a look at what they are doing. It's far more than a sugar daddy owner.

It is early to say, so there's no point in crediting them with plans for things which haven't actually happened yet. All we can ask is, what have FSG done for us so far? We don't appear to have moved forward 'on the pitch', which is the only area where the fans should be concerned. Under H&G we were a top 4 team.

Although ticket prices aren't of interest to me, it would be interesting to get an explanation as to why our prices are at an all time high in 2013, despite having larger commercial incomes, inferior players, inferior management, lower wage bills and no CL football to justify the increases....

In a nutshell, the fans are paying a lot more for a lot less. I almost sympathise with them.

Should walk away for approving those away jerseys alone. Not to mention the stadium and all things football

Why would their owners leave? These guys are investing to build a brand and they are being more successful than us in doing it. Chelsea has already overtaken us on shirt sales, soon it would be City. City has better owners than United by the way who are just looting the club by paying for the loan they took to buy United and even paid themselves dividends last year.
