Well Roy was the manager at the time who along with ayre brokered the deal , now if you don't like the thought if that well that's up to you but its there. It's common knowledge around my way that it was Benitez - he went after Suarez to partner Torres who said that we need more quality players or he'd consider his future. Torres was happy that RB had started the ball rolling with Suarez but then roy arrived and the 'quality players' that were being brought in to keep torres happy were the likes Poulsen & Konchesky. The final nail in the coffin for Torres was when Dalglish came back. Had we stuck with Benitez we'd have suarez & torres upfront and there would have been no carroll, downing, henderson, adam, koncheksy, poulsen or joe cole. If you don't like it I can't help you, 'but it's there'. Torres never played for Dalglish and to say he left because of KD is complete fantasy just like saying it was Rafa who brought in Suarez....7 months after he left. I know you love RB, even saying that he is better than Mourinho (at least Inter, Chelsea and Real Madrid decision makers think otherwise and I would assume they know better than you), but, sometimes it's just too much.

Whoever it was did a great job. I was working with a Dutch guy just before we signed him and he explained how good he was I took it with a pinch of salt but he was right.

It was KD who authorised him to go, he did not want anyone sulking in the squad. The friction between Carra/Gerrard and Torres was at its peak, due to him as Carra described the other day 'downing tools'. Torres also at this point decided not to turn up for certain club events such as Alderhey at Christmas etc

It was dalglish that sold Torres! As for the RB comments - he won things at both inter and chelsea. As for madrid, I'm not even sure why you have mentioned them!? Their owner considers Moruinho to be the worst manager in their history so I'm not sure what your point it.

Well well well sixties just sums the whole suarez situation up , as will say he has been very underhanded and his agent.

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

LFC fans should know better than most that the media aren't to be trusted and will print whatever they think will help sell a paper.
