If we want to splash out on one player, I think we should consider buying Ribery. he's the perfect player for our right hand of midfield. he's got the skills, the intelligence, and he's versatile enough to play in any of the 3 attacking positions behind the main striker.

It seems that he's not getting anywhere with Bayern Munchen who win a match then screw up in a dozen matches. this will never help you to win any trophies.

He needs to move to a better team, in a better league.

Liverpool will fit him well, and he will be well worth No. 7.

That's why we should act before anyone else does. Man united have been linked with him, as a replacement for Ronaldo. If we can get him before United enter the scene, then we will have better chances.

fantastic player. we'd need new owners to afford him. more likely he'll become ronaldos replacement at utd IMO

i am not convinced on ribery - great ability yes but not sure he has the right temperament to succeed in the prem

I don't know that we can get better cause he is a damn good player. We might be a chance now that Parry is gone - the negotiations will run smoother and faster. The Mancs may not get a chance to enter the race to sign him. Guess it will still come down to available funds and what position Rafa will be targeting.

Agree with Joel... all depends on whether Rafa likes him, but I can't see why he wouldn't admire Ribery - he is a different gravy.

Seriously though, if we got Ribery, I would be dancing in the street. He's that good.

We will see Carra, but I'd certainly welcome him.

I don't rate our chances to be honest - he's on everyone's radar, and we won't win a bidding war with our funds. It's be good though.
